Yeshua Ben David

Our Mission: As founding Rabbi/Pastor of Cong.Yeshua Ben David I am a Staff evangelist with the oldest Jewish Mission in America, Chosen People Ministries which was founded by Rabbi Leopold Cohn in Brooklyn in 1894. Our joint Mission is to pray for, evangelize, disciple, and serve the Jewish people and help fellow believers do the same.

Our Vision: To grow a spiritually strong, healthy, and diverse Messianic Congregation in the heart of Pittsburgh's Jewish Squirrel Hill community. We are a welcoming place  for Jewish seekers to come and discover their own Jewish Messiah and for Messianic jews and Gentiles to learn the Jewish roots of the gospel and grow in their faith in Yeshua.       

Our Strategy: We do weekly evangelistic outreaches in Squirrel Hill and at the Pitt campus,weather permitting. We observe and celebrate weekly Shabbat services on Saturday mornings and observe and celebrate all our Jewish biblical feasts and holidays which point to and have their fulfillment in Yeshua.All our services are open to the public and often family and friends and seekers come and share in a Jewish flavored gospel experience.

Our Focus: Is to glorify and honor our Messiah Yeshua as He himself has said 'If I be lifted up, I will draw all men unto Me.' We endeavor to experience intimacy with Yeshua and be filled and led by His Ruach/Spirit.

Outreach: Evangelistic outreaches in Squirrel Hill by the Post Office and at Schenley Plaza on the Pitt Campus. I also speak at many Churches across all denominational lines in the greater Pittsburgh area as well as in Western and Central Pa., and Ohio and West Va. teaching on Jesus Jewish heritage and on Jesus in the Passover events, The Feast of Trumpets, The Day of Atonement, the Feast of Tabernacles, the Chanukkah-Christmas connection, the book of Esther, and on the Holy War over the Promised and explaining the current Gaza conflict in historic, and prophetically biblical terms.

Our Values: Love for the Lord, love for one another, and love for the lost. We believe in a deep and rich Jewish flavored worship experience, We practice Body Ministry as the Lord leads through praying for one another. We are a Messiah centered biblically sound, outreach driven, Spirit led community of Jews and Gentiles who are One New Man as Paul taught in Yeshua.

Services: Every Shabbat/Saturday morning at 10:30 am. And special services during all Jewish holy days and festivals and feast days. All are open to the public. We meet at the House of Prayer Building at 3503 Beechwood Blvd in the Squirrel Hill/ Greenfield area, 15217.

Pastors are Founding Rabbi/Pastor Jeff Kipp and our new Assistant Pastor and future successor Mike Schmaus. We also have a Shabbat school for children, a Dance ministry, Hebrew classes, bible studies, and prayer meetings.

We are integrated with Chosen People Ministries events throughout the year through Simcha (Joy) Memorial Day weekend Retreats in Carlisle, Pa. and Children's Kesher (connection) summer and winter camps.
